CJX2- LC1D12 A26-30-10 all indicate the type, AC, current, and voltage. 3/4P are modifiers, and AC Contactors is the keyword. An AC contactor is a unit that automatically changes the connection of a circuit by means of an electromagnet. The AC main circuits (high current) are connected and disconnected over long distances and frequently by this device. 1. Electromagnetic system
Coil: A copper wire winding wound around an insulating skeleton that generates a magnetic field when energized.
Iron core: including static iron core and dynamic iron core (armature), usually made of stacked silicon steel sheets, used for magnetic conduction and driving contact action.
Reaction spring: causes the armature to reset after the coil is powered off, and the contact is disconnected.
2. Contact system
Main contacts: usually three pairs of normally open contacts made of silver alloy, carrying high currents of the main circuit and connecting/disconnecting the load power supply.
Auxiliary contact: used for controlling circuits, divided into two types: normally open and normally closed, to achieve self-locking, interlocking or signal feedback.
3. Arc extinguishing device
Arc extinguishing cover: usually made of clay or plastic, with metal grids inside, used to divide and cool the arc, and quickly extinguish the arc generated when the contact is disconnected.

Material quality
1. Core component material
Contact material: High quality products use silver alloys (such as silver cadmium oxide and silver tin oxide), which have good conductivity, arc resistance, and resistance to welding. Poor quality products may use silver plated copper or even pure copper, with a short lifespan.
Coil: High quality enameled wire winding, good insulation, stable resistance, low temperature rise after long-term power on, and not easy to burn out.
Iron core (yoke and armature): made of low loss silicon steel sheets stacked together, with surface rust prevention treatment (such as galvanizing), smooth suction, low noise, and low eddy current loss.

2. Structural design and process
Arc extinguishing capability: Equipped with an arc extinguishing hood/grid (made of ceramic or high-quality flame-retardant plastic) inside, with a large number of grid pieces arranged neatly, it can quickly cool and divide the arc.
Mechanical structure: The components are installed compactly, and the action mechanism is flexible without jamming. The spring has moderate elasticity, ensuring reliable suction and disconnection.
Shell: Made of flame-retardant and high-temperature resistant materials (such as PA66), with high strength and good insulation performance.
3. Electrical performance and parameters
Contact resistance: low resistance, high conductivity, and low heat generation.
Pull in/release voltage: It can reliably pull in within the specified voltage range (such as 85% -110% of rated voltage), and can reliably release at low voltage (such as 20% -40% of rated voltage), with strong anti-interference ability.
Electrical and mechanical lifespan: Clearly labeled, high frequency. The electrical lifespan of high-quality contactors can reach hundreds of thousands of times or more.

Coil and insulation performance testing
Coil DC resistance: Measure the coil resistance with a multimeter to determine if there is a short circuit or open circuit between turns.
Insulation resistance test: Use a megohmmeter (shake meter or digital insulation tester) to measure:
Electrical action characteristic testing
Pull in voltage and release voltage test: Use an adjustable power supply to power the coil, slowly increase the voltage until the contactor reliably pulls in (usually below 85% of the rated voltage), and slowly decrease the voltage until it reliably releases (usually above 20% -40% of the rated voltage).
Power on suction/release test: Repeat the operation several times at rated voltage, listen for crisp sound, and observe for any abnormal vibration or continuous buzzing sound.
Main contact continuity test
Contact resistance test: Use a circuit resistance tester or a low resistance micro ohmmeter to measure the resistance of each pair of main contacts in the closed state. The value should be very small and three-phase balanced (such as<100 µ Ω level).
Verification of on-off status: In the power-off state, use a multimeter to check the on-off range:
Normally open main contact: When the coil is not powered on, it should be disconnected, and when manually pressed, it should be connected.
Normally closed auxiliary contact: opposite state.
