Working principle:

An air circuit breaker (ACB) operates by automatically cutting off current when it detects an overload or short circuit. During normal operation, its main contacts remain closed, allowing current to flow freely. When a sustained overcurrent occurs, the thermal element bends due to heat, triggering the circuit breaker mechanism. In the event of a sudden short circuit, the solenoid coil generates a momentary magnetic force that trips the circuit breaker mechanism. This action rapidly separates the main contacts. A strong electric arc is generated between the separated contacts and is immediately sent to the arc-extinguishing chamber, where the arc is broken up, cooled, and extinguished, thus safely disconnecting the circuit and preventing system damage. |

Motor/Coil: After inspection, if the motor or coil is found to be inoperable, the factory will replace them. The entire ACB is then tested to verify proper motor operation and ensure the unit can open and close correctly. This guarantees full functionality of the motor and coil. For currents below 2000A, a small motor (NT/N1 series) is used, while a large motor (NW/H1 series) is employed for currents above 2000A. |

It serves as a critical safety component in low-voltage systems, reliably interrupting fault currents and preventing damage to downstream equipment from overloads and short circuits. Test Process:

Mechanical operation test: ● Check whether the mechanical operation of the circuit breaker is flexible and reliable. ● Test the operation functions such as closing, opening, and energy storage. Electrical performance testing: ● Insulation resistance test: Use a megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance of the main and auxiliary circuits, ensuring that they meet the standard (usually ≥ 1M Ω). ● Power frequency withstand voltage test: Apply rated power frequency voltage (such as 2500V/1min) to the main circuit and auxiliary circuit to check the insulation performance. ● Contact resistance test: Measure the contact resistance of the main contact to ensure that it is below the specified value (usually micro ohm level). Protection function test: ● Test the action values and time of protection functions such as overload, short circuit, and ground fault. ● Verify the settings and functionality of the intelligent release device. |

1.Power-on test
Manually open and close the circuit 3-5 times to check if the operating mechanism is flexible, without jamming or abnormal noise. Perform wiring tests to verify remote opening and closing functions.
2. Test protection functions:
overload protection (long-time delay L), short-circuit protection (instantaneous/short-time delay I), and earth fault protection (G).
3. Visual inspection:
* Check the controller housing for any damage.
* Ensure all wiring connections are secure and not loose.
* Verify the display screen (if available) is functioning normally.
* Power supply testing:
* Measure the control power supply voltage to confirm it meets specifications (typically 24V DC or 110/220V AC).
* Check the status of the power indicator light.
Renovation process:
1.Used Product Selection:
We select products with intact barcodes, recent manufacturing dates, fully functional opening/closing and energy storage mechanisms, and relatively intact appearance without damage.
2.Refurbishment Process:
First, completely disassemble the used products. Then, clean the insulation components, followed by electroplating the copper and iron parts. Next, thoroughly air-dry all components. After that, spray-paint and lubricate the insulation parts. Finally, proceed with reassembly, debugging, and packaging before shipping.
